Amarynthia
Amarynthia, was screened for hip dysplasia at birth and diagnosed with severely dislocated hips on both sides.
She wore an over the shoulder brace for a few months and then she was in a rhino cruiser full-time for 6 months. Gradually she wore the rhino cruiser less and less and this summer she was finally given the go ahead to stop wearing it completely. Amarynthia learned to walk (and then run) days after her first birthday and is now quite the climber and adventurer. Her mom, Chloe said “Each family’s journey is unique. We were treated so well by Dr. Kishore Mulpuri and the staff of children’s hospital and we are so grateful that things panned out as they did for our girl.”
