Martin J. Shen

Board Member

Martin is currently the CEO of FingerMotion, Inc. a US publicly-listed technology company, with offices in New York, Hongkong, Shanghai, and Beijing. Martin was previously the founder of Imperial Distributors and the COO/CFO at R. Wales & Son Industrial Rubber. Martin is a licensed US Certified Public Accountant, and spent over 10 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, with tenures in Canada, Singapore, and Hongkong. Martin also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UBC.

“Generosity is part of what makes us human” and Martin strongly believes in giving back to causes close to his heart, with any level of time, talent, and treasure. He was a member of the BC Children’s Hospital Circle of Care in the construction of its new Teck Acute Care Centre and was previously the Chair of the BCCHF’s Golf for Kids tournament. He is honoured to be on the “I’m A HIPpy” Board as he is an avid supporter of Dr. Mulpuri and his efforts to eliminate the suffering of children dealing with hip displacement issues.

Aside from HIPpy, Martin also sits on the St. George’s School Board’s finance/audit committee, is president of their Parent’s Association, and is on the Finance Committee at St. Augustine’s Church.
