NO CHILD SHOULD SUFFER THE BURDEN
OF HIP DYSPLASIA
and other hip DISORDERS
We work every day with a passion to improve hip health, mobility, and quality of life in children with hip dysplasia and other hip disorders.
What is hip dysplasia?
Hip Dysplasia is the most common hip disorder in babies. The hip is a ball-and-socket joint and normally the ball (femoral head) sites securely in the socket (acetabulum). Hip dysplasia is when a baby’s hip joint is abnormally loose. This means the ball moves around too much in the socket, or can even be completely out of the socket (dislocated).
Donations of $25 or more are eligible for tax receipts, which will be issued by BC Children’s Hospital Foundation.
